- LCI - Several class members participated in the successful Large Church Initiative event. Clayton was effusive in his praise of the congregation.
- Melinda reports that our good friend and former teacher Paul Escamilla sent his regards during his visit to LCI.
- Class officers' meeting next Sunday after class.
Joys & Concerns
- Melinda's uncle starts treatment for esophageal cancer this week. He received some good news recently about the treatment and his prognosis.
- Steve Tesmer's dad passed yesterday after a battle with Parkinson's.

- Acts 1:8-9 Jesus speaks to His disciples for the last time, promising He will send the Holy Spirit. He's then lifted to Heaven.
- John 16:7 Jesus tells the disciples He must leave them in order to send the Helper (the Holy Spirit) to them.
